Why do you run? It's a question posed with a casual air, usually offhanded and rhetorical. But, in all honesty, it's a damn good question. I ask myself it every day multiple times and, in the past, quite colorfully.

I run because... every step manifests a new place to exist with each stride extending my horizon.
