Why do you run? It's a question posed with a casual air, usually offhanded and rhetorical. But, in all honesty, it's a damn good question. I ask myself it every day multiple times and, in the past, quite colorfully.

I run because... I remember a time when I couldn't, and know that there will be a time when I can't.
